Making an Impact: 2025 a Year of Giving Back at Alliant

At Alliant, our responsibility goes beyond the office. The #Alliant4Others initiative reflects our commitment to the communities we serve. In 2025, from California to New Orleans, our teams have actively worked to make a difference and change lives.

🍎 Fighting Hunger One Milestone at a Time

Hunger doesn’t take a day off, and neither do our volunteers. Our teams focused heavily on food security this year:

  • Feeding San Diego: Our Surplus Lines and Licensing teams joined forces twice this fall, clocking in 24 hours of service to sort bread and fruit. Meanwhile, our CSG-SD team reached a massive milestone, gleaning 2,635 pounds of onions to feed local families!

  • Second Harvest Food Bank: In Silicon Valley, our volunteers helped distribute enough potatoes to support 630 households—that’s over 2,500 meals for the Bay Area.

  • Feed My Starving Children: In a high-impact sprint, the CAU team packed enough food in just two hours to feed 168 children for an entire year.

🎒 Empowering the Next Generation

Supporting our youth is an investment in the future. This summer, our offices were buzzing with "back-to-school" energy:

  • New Orleans Success: The New Orleans team packed 300+ backpacks for the Youth Empowerment Project (YEP), helping local students start their school year with confidence.

  • Easter Smiles: In San Jose, we raised funds to provide 22 custom Easter Baskets for children at the Abode Services’ Sunrise Village Emergency Shelter.

🎖️ Honoring Veterans and First Responders

We take immense pride in supporting those who serve.

In April, our CREW 25 (Corporate Real Estate and Workplace) team partnered with several industry leaders in Irvine to assemble 250 care packages for the Veterans Association of America. Additionally, our Marketing team crafted 100 handmade greeting cards for Operation Gratitude to send a "thank you" to our military and first responder communities.

❤️ Small Acts, Big Hearts

Sometimes, the most meaningful impact comes from the smallest gestures:

  • Happy Snacks: The CA Real Estate team visited the Ronald McDonald House, preparing treats for families navigating the stress of pediatric hospital visits.

  • Sustainability & Pets: Our CSG San Jose team got creative with "Virtual VTO," upcycling old t-shirts into hand-made dog tug toys for local shelters.

  • Life-Saving Donations: We continued our tradition of health advocacy with our annual 10 Almaden Blood Drive.
